Interview 3-4 Realtors to see whose marketing plan, ethics, skills, experience and personality will work best for you. Remember, you'll be spending a lot of time with this person so choose someone you get along with personally and professionally!
Clean House
Mow the lawn (or clear the driveway), paint the front door, clear clutter, clean carpets, give the whole home a good cleaning. Walk through your home as if you were a Buyer and remove anything that may be distracting or unpleasant. Touch up paint, caulking and molding as needed.
Show
Try to be flexible with showing times and keep the home tidy in case of short notice showings. It's best not to be home when showings take place as Buyers will tend to rush through or feel uncomfortable.
Negotiate
When an offer is presented I will help you to negotiate price, terms, and dates to suit your needs.
Pack and Move
Once the subjects are removed from your contract you have a firm and unconditional sale. All there is to do now is pack up and book the moving truck!
